Alena Wittkowski

Bachelor's and Master's degree in applied chemistry at the Clausthal University of Technology. The master's thesis was carried out at the Institute for Nonmetallic Materials in cooperation with Fels Werke GmbH with the title "Investigations into the mode of action of methyl cellulose in agglomerated mortars and its influence on strength".

PhD student in the research group since October 2017. The focus of the research is on the speciation of manganese in crystallographically inaccessible phases in slags from the recycling of lithium-ion batteries.
